Cellulose Fibre For SMA products are successfully used as a bitumen carrier in asphalt production throughout the world.It is a high performance cellulose fiber that supports bitumen and increases stability in open and semi-open mixture (Such as SMA). The Bitumen percolation becomes a problem as during stone mastic asphalt (SMA) application , the asphalt content is more. This Cellulose fibre prevents percolation & prevents desorption in the coating. In addition , it is used for increasing asphalt's mechanical strength, reducing the peeling of bitumen from aggregate and adding further positive attributes to the mixture.
